Seminar: Pros Say 'Go' (to Mac OS X)

Apple is sponsoring a free online seminar series dubbed “Pros Say ‘Go'” (as in go to Mac OS X) that touts the benefits of Mac OS X for creative professionals.

Pros Say “Go” will offer how-to’s, tips, and tricks from a variety of industry experts such as Sandee Cohen (author and graphics arts instructor), Son Do (a color management guru), Steve Werner (a trainer, consultant, and author), and Check Weger (an independent consultant). There will also be video tutorials showcasing solutions from Apple, DiamondSoft, GretagMacbeth, and Hewlett-Packard. And, according to Apple, seminar participants will:

Learn how Mac OS X frees you from font limitations and makes it easy to organize and manage your fonts;

Learn how Mac OS X with built-in ColorSync helps ensure accurate color throughout your workflow;

See how advances in Mac OS X make it easier to print, even with older printers and Windows clients;

Learn how wireless technology coupled with Mac OS X can give you true mobility;

Download technology briefs, benchmark reports, and other resources to help you understand the benefits of with Mac OS X.

To participate in the seminar, you’ll need Netscape or Internet Explorer 4.0 or later (Apple’s Safari, still in beta testing, isn’t among the listed browsers) and QuickTime 6.0 or later. You’ll have to register online.
