Alsoft will present the latest info on DiskWarrior at the Saturday, April 19, meeting of the Houston Area Apple Users Group (HAAUG). The meeting — to be held at Rice University Campus, Duncan Hall, McMurtry Auditorium — runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 p.m., but the main presentation gets underway at 11:15 am.
DiskWarrior is a utility for preventing and repairing disk damage. Alsoft has just released a new DiskWarrior CD that can be used to boot up the new 17-inch iMacs, Power Mac G4s (with mirrored drive doors), PowerBook G4 (1GHz/867MHz) and iBooks.
There’s no charge for admission to the HAAUG meeting, though they hope you’ll join the user group if you’re not a member. Joining the group costs US$45 — or $20 for students. For more info on HAAUG and the April 19 meeting, go to the user group Web site.
