If you picked the just-released Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets DVD and you’d like to extend your magical experience with some Mac gaming, you’re in luck. Aspyr Media announced today that it is shipping Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, its Mac conversion of the game. The game is expected to hit store shelves this Wednesday.
Now in his second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry Potter is learning more spells and making new friends as he seeks to uncover the mystery of the Chamber of Secrets. Puzzles and quests abound as you explore the grounds of Hogwarts with Harry, learn to fly a broomstick and play Quidditch, and much more.
Published for the PC by Electronic Arts, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was converted to the Mac by Westlake Interactive. It’s a 3D action/adventure game in which you help Harry understand how to cast new spells, brew potions, find secret passages, and interact with characters made popular in the books and movies.
System requirements for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets call for Mac OS X 9.1 or later and Mac OS X 10.1 or later; G3/350MHz or faster; 128MB RAM (256MB required for OS X); and ATI RAGE 128 with 16MB VRAM or better 3D graphics acceleration.
