United Developers subsidiary Mumbo Jumbo has announced the release of Power Chips & High Roller, a new puzzle action game featuring a casino theme. The game is sold through fellow United Developers subsidiary MacPlay’s e-store.
Power Chips is an action puzzle game in the spirit of Super Collapse and other similar games. You must eliminate groups of three or more matching chips from the game board as they fall from the top of the screen. The game ends when the chips reach the foul line, and bonus chips can invoke special powers, like the ability to collect a lot of chips simultaneously.
High Roller takes a twist on the Bejeweled concept by filling the screen up with multicolored dice and requiring you to match up three or more to score points. High Roller features a classic 1950’s muscle car theme.
Both games sport normal and time attack modes, high score boards, and full screen or windowed mode. Power Chips & High Roller’s minimum system requirements call for Mac OS X 10.1.5 or higher; 128MB RAM; OpenGL-compatible video card; and 12MB free hard disk space.
Mac and Windows versions are included on a single CD-ROM for US$19.99.
