Tomorrow Red Rock Software will release DeltaGraph 5, an update that brings the software’s charting, graphing, and data-analysis tools to Mac OS X for the first time. The new version is designed to take full advantage of the Quartz Extreme graphics system and Aqua interface, according to company spokesperson David Parkinson.
DeltaGraph 5 is technical graphing software that lets you develop a range of 2D and 3D graphs and charts. The software is targeted to researchers, analysts, and managers who work with complex sets of data and who need to collect, analyze and present their findings visually.
DeltaGraph includes a chart advisor and style libraries that lets users edit and arrange legends, grids, and pictures on a chart. In addition to charts and graphs, the software has a Formula Builder that includes 50 statistical and other mathematical functions. DeltaGraph publishes results as paper reports, electronic presentations, or Web documents.
Besides Mac OS X compatibility, version 5 adds over 80 chart and graph types with over 200 styles designed to address specific business needs. DeltaGraph 5 for Mac OS X has an estimated street price of US$299 for a single license. Registered users of versions 1.0 to 4.5 can upgrade to version 5 for S$199. Academic and multi-user licenses are also available.
