4D Inc. has begun to offer a free sample database application called 4D Keynote Builder. The software enables users of Keynote — Apple’s presentation software — to integrate with a database.
4D Keynote Builder uses information stored in a 4th Dimension 2003 database to build dynamic presentations. 4D Keynote Builder in its current incarnation uses real estate data, for example, but it can be adapted to address other markets too.
4D President and CEO Brendan Coveney said his company is the first database vendor to offer a sample application that can integrate with Keynote and can be modified by developers for other solutions.
4D Keynote builder is being offered as source code, so you can modify it to your heart’s content.
