Ingeniux Corp. has released the Ingeniux Content Management System (CMS) for Mac OS X 10.2 (“Jaguar”). The application lets Mac-based content contributors create, manage, and update Web content.
Ingeniux CMS offers a Web content management and publishing system for developing, managing, and deploying Web content throughout the enterprise. Its browser-based interface allows content experts with no programming knowledge to directly participate in and manage the Web publishing process, according to Jim Edmunds, president of Ingeniux. Ingeniux CMS sports a granular permissions structure and workflow approval process that ensures that content is properly approved and formatted before it’s posted to a site, he added.
With the software’s editing capabilities, you can update text, add new pages, drag and drop content from other applications, spell check content, and rollback to previous versions. You have access to a permissions-based photo gallery of thumbnail images through which you can upload, insert, and drag and drop selected images into assigned pages.
With Ingeniux CMS, multiple users can collaborate on the same site. A Check-In/Check-Out feature indicates whether a team member is editing a particular page, preventing accidental overwrites. The solution also has workflow tools for tracking and managing content contributions throughout the workflow process. This allows site administrators to control how and when items get published to the Web.
You can register for a live demo. However, you’ll have to contact Ingeniux for pricing details.
