IDG World Expo is now accepting early registration for its recently announced Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo. The show is scheduled to take place in New York City from July 14 – 18, 2003.
Show organizers are offering returning attendees 10 percent off any conference package if you register by June 16, 2003, and a free Exhibit Hall pass if you register by May 19, 2003. Returning attendees will receive a discount code via email beginning this week. The exhibit hall will be open from July 16 – 18. For new attendees, organizers are offering an earlybird discount on conference packages as well as exhibit hall passes.
Conference sessions will run the full week of the event and will include tutorials on QuarkXPress; Photoshop; DVD Studio Pro; Dreamweaver; Digital Asset Management; Advanced PDF; Preflighting; How to Set Up a Home Recording Studio; Color Management Principles; Graphic Design for Online Gaming Development; and more.
Confirmed speakers for the tradeshow include David Barrett, CEO, R/com Networks, Inc.; David Mash, Vice President for Information Technology, Berklee School of Music; David Pogue, Author & The New York Times “State of the Art” Columnist; and Doug Werner, Webslinger, Apple Computer Inc.
IDG World Expo officials confirmed on Thursday that Apple, Canon, ATI, Avid, Discreet, Canto, Epson, Harman Multimedia, Hewlett-Packard, Maxtor, Nikon, O’Reilly & Associates, Xerox, Sony and others have already committed to exhibiting at the show. More companies are in various stages of signing up to attend the show, but representatives would not elaborate of which companies those were.
