Glass Bead Software has released version 4 of SnapMail 4 for Mac OS X. It’s a complete overhaul that offers TCP/IP networking, support for Apple’s Rendezvous, one-click “SnapBack” replies, and while-you-type spell checking.
SnapMail is designed to run with or without a server, and installs on client machines. It features standard e-mail and messaging functions like the ability to send attachments, support for multiple addressing options, return receipts and more.
In addition to Mac OS X, SnapMail 4 is compatible with Mac OS 8.6-9.x. The cost ranges from US$79 for two users to $997.50 for 50 or more users. Upgrade pricing from SnapMail 3 is $29.23 for two users and $369.08 for 50-plus users. Educational pricing is also available.
