Apple has new ads to promote its new iTunes Music Service, and the company has posted them in QuickTime format on its Web site.
The ads take a style cue from Apple’s Switch advertising campaign: A stark white background showing regular-looking folks — Nava, Floyd, Tyra, Nic and Jacob, to start — singing along with their favorite songs on iPods. The songs range from Pink’s “Get This Party Started” to The Who’s “My Generation” to Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back.”
The ads each end with the words “Your favorite songs. 99¢ each.” and “Applemusic.com.”
In related news, Apple has also posted the video that was seen during Steve Jobs’ Monday presentation unveiling Apple’s new music service, iPods and iTunes 4 update.
