Apple’s Product Line Manager, Music Distribution and Software, Chris Bell will be on tonight’s Your Mac Life, the Internet radio show about all things Mac. Host Shawn King and Bell will talk about the issues involved in bringing the store to market, what’s inside the Store, technical-wise and how it came about, why it’s important to the company, how it works.
Greg Brewer, CEO of
— makers of Data Rescue X, Data Recycler X and Data Backup X — will talk about his company’s products and Dan Wood of
Karelia Software, makers of the Watson utility will also be on talking to King. He’ll discuss the latest version of the Mac tool for retrieving Web content and services. Version 1.7 was released last week, adding, among other features, a new “SiteSearch” tool that’s used to search individual Web sites and display the results in a list.
Your Mac Life’s own “IRC Babe,” Sylvia “Sly” Marton, will be doing another interview in her series about “Women and Macs.” This week, her guest will be Iris Sneath, advertising systems specialist for the “Palm Beach Post” newspaper. Marton and Sneath will chat about Macs, Marton’s job, and her overall “Geek quotient.”
