The Mac Shoppe has released a peripheral called the iMac Speaker Thingie that helps to elevate Apple Pro Speakers off the desk, for 15 and 17-inch flat panel iMacs.
Molded of snow-white plastic, with circular speaker holders at each end, the iMac Speaker Thingie enables you to swing your speaker and move them with the adjustable flat panel display itself. The wishes of customers to get the Pro Speakers off the desktop lead to the development of the Thingie, Peter Lock of The Mac Shoppe told MacCentral.
