Apple’s PowerSchool was named Best K-16 Education Administration Solution at the 18th annual Software & Information Industry Association’s (SIIA) Codie Awards. The SIIA is the principal trade association for the software and digital content industry.
PowerSchool is a completely Web-based student information system that enables districts and schools to record, access, report and manage their student data and performance records in real-time. Parents, students, teachers and administrators use the system to share information about grades, attendance records and homework assignments. The PowerSchool student information system is used by over 2,000 schools in the U.S.
More than 330 companies and 650 products were nominated in the 2003 Codies. First round judging was completed by a panel of judges consisting of representatives from the industry trade press, mainstream technology writers and industry experts.
