Shareware developer Alco Bloom has updated Web Confidential, the password manager for Mac OS X and Mac OS 9.x, to version 3.5, adding support for Apple’s Safari Web browser, support for the Omni Group’s OmniWeb browser, and a new List View.
Web Confidential is designed to help you organize your secure Internet information (user IDs, passwords, registration numbers, etc.) and offers 448-bit encryption. With version 3.5, you can automatically fill in Web forms with user IDs and password fields under Safari and OmniWeb.
The new List View lets you see a list of your passwords. An accompanying Type Ahead feature allows you to select a password in the List View. A new Key Lock shared icon menu in your Web browser’s menubar gives you access to all your passwords.
A 30-day demo version of Web Confidential is available from Bloom’s Web site. Registration is US$20.
