IDG World Expo has added a pair of “Feature Presentations” and a new conference track to this July’s forthcoming Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo. The new Feature Presentations will be delivered by Apple and Macromedia, respectively.
Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo is being held to address the needs of creative professionals in design and publishing, video and music. The conference was recently rebadged with the “CreativePro” moniker to help better identify its purpose and focus. The event takes place July 14 – 18, 2003 at the Javits Center in New York City.
An as-yet unidentified Apple executive will take the stage on Wednesday, July 16 at 9:30AM, according to IDG World Expo. At 3PM that day, Macromedia Products President Norm Meyrowitz will take the stage, as well. The Feature Presentations will be open to all attendees.
The new conference track added to this year’s roster focuses on Pro Audio. The conference track will feature sessions on specific tools like Emagic Logic, ProTools 6 and more, along with information on editing, DJ/remix applications, audio restoration and more.
Attendees can focus on one and two day tutorials, two levels of conference sessions for beginners and intermediate users or expert users, labs and various presentations.
In addition to the Pro Audio track, Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo will also offer “Level 1” conference attendees tracks on Design and Publishing; Mac Skills; Music; Photography; Prosumer Video and Web Design. “Level 2” conference tracks include Professional Video and Design and Publishing.
There are many different attendee packages to choose from, including the Exhibit Hall Package, which just gets you onto the show floor. For a complete breakdown of packages available or more details about what’s happening at this July’s show, hit the Web site.
