QuickVoice developer nFinity Inc. has released
for Mac OS X. The application lets OS X users produce an e-mail digital postcards with embedded audio messages, custom titling and bordering.
Designed to work with Apple’s iPhoto software, Audio Postcard also accepts graphics imported from other applications. It features a drag and drop interface and a simple four-step production system that enables users to drag images in, record a voice message, add a custom title and border, then send. The files are attached in Apple’s Mail application as QuickTime files, compatible with both Macs and PCs.
System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.1 or later. nFinity advises that some users may also require QuickTime 6.0.2 or later to be installed because of a QuickTime bug that prevents some systems from recording. Also, you’ll need a microphone — iBooks, iMacs, PowerBooks and eMacs have built-in mics.
Available as an online download, Audio Postcard costs US$19.95 to register. The software is also available at a discount, bundled with nFinity’s voice recording and e-mail software QuickVoice, for $29.95. Trial versions are available.
