Berlin, Germany-based music software developer Native Instruments has announced that its Reaktor Session and Reaktor 4 products are now shipping.
Reaktor 4 is the latest generation of Native Instruments’ modular sound studio, developed for sound design and music production. The software enables users to build their own instruments, samplers, effects and sound design tools. The new version features enhancements to sound, new modules and interface elements, an integrated browser, graphical sample mapping, new preset functions and much more. It runs natively in Mac OS X and supports Audio Units, as well.
Reaktor Session provides access to Reaktor-designed instruments, samplers, effects and live tools. The software includes synthesizers, beat-loopers, groove and drum machines, surround effects, and more, along with access to the online library of instruments and tools at Native Instruments’ Web sites.
Available now at music retailers, Reaktor Session costs US$249 or €249. Reaktor 4 costs $499 or €499. Native Instruments is also offering a €99 upgrade for Dynamo users. Reaktor 3 users can download the Reaktor 4 installer for free from Native Instruments’ Web site.
