Apimac has updated the Apimac Address Book, a telephone and address application, to version 5.2. The update adds support for the Mac OS X Address Book’s instant messenger fields (AIM, ICQ, Jabber, MSN, Yahoo) and more.
Apimac Address Book lets you manage addresses, phone numbers, URLs, and e-mail addresses all in one place. Besides Mac OS X Address Book enhancements, version 5.2 adds a Back-up Database and Revert to Database back-up commands for facilitating backups. Sync functionality now includes a safeguard alert with four levels of safety and the ability to set up the port for dialing at the modem preference panel. Additionally, cards can be independently listed and sorted by First or Last Name, the Title and Suffix field names can be longer, and the Notes field can now hold more text.
Apimac Address Book 5.2 costs US$19.99. Upgrades from previous versions to 5.2 are free. There’s also a version of Address Book available for the “Mac Classic” operating system.
