To increase awareness of the plug-in architecture of GIMP (Graphic Image Manipulation Program), the MacGIMP project is giving away packaged copies to users who write up to a 500-word description of how they use their favorite GIMP Plug-in, according to Mat Caughron of the MacGIMP project.
MacGIMP is a Mac version of the GIMP. It’s a freely distributed piece of software suitable for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and authoring. It’s compatible with Mac OS X.
The deadline for submissions, which should be e-mailed to MacGIMP, is May 30 and there is only one entry per person allowed. A list of available GIMP plug-ins is online.
