KVM peripheral maker
is shipping the 4×1 DVI/ADC Switcher, a device that connects four DVI sources to two ADC and or DVI displays.
It’s ideal for connecting cross-platform DVI systems, according to the company, and can work with DVI sources including HDTVs equipped with a DVI port. Any DVI or ADC-equipped display will work, including Apple’s own 23-inch Cinema HD Display (an ADC interface is built in, along side several DVI interfaces).
The DVI/ADC Switcher switches video, USB and audio for each source, supports High Definition Copy Protection (HDCP) for home theater systems and is rackmountable. It also comes with an infrared remote control.
Gefen Inc. sells the 4×1 ADC/DVI Switcher for US$849. The package includes the Switcher itself, DVI, USB and audio cables, and a power supply. Visit
