Ranchero Software has released
v1.0.3, a new version of the Mac OS X-native RSS newsreader. The new version is ready to download now from the Ranchero Software Web site.
NetNewsWire Lite sports a three-paned interface that makes it possible for you to display headlines and summary information and retrieve articles from thousands of Web sites and Web logs, or “blogs.” NetNewsWire Lite works by reading RDF/Rich Site Summary, or RSS, information. RSS an XML format used to syndicate Web site content.
NetNewsWire Lite enables users to keep up-to-date with the latest news and headlines on various Web sites, including MacCentral. It’s the junior version of a fuller-featured and more advanced registration-based product that Ranchero also makes available (the full version of NetNewsWire was still at v1.0.2 as MacCentral posted this article).
NetNewsWire Lite 1.0.3 was developed using Mac OS X’s Cocoa application framework. The software is free to download and use.
