YazSoft has updated Speed Download to version 1.9.9, which is optimized for the latest version of Safari, Apple’s Web browser.
Speed Download offers multithreading so you can go online and download as many files as you want, simultaneously. Version 1.9.9 also has updated plug-ins for speed and compatibility with more servers, improved handling of certain .ZIP files, and better downloading from local networks. There are also other minor tweaks and bug fixes.
Speed Download 1.99 is compatible with Mac OS X (10.1.5 or higher) and Mac OS 8.6-9.x. The cost is US$20 for a single user license.
