If you’re an old-school gamer craving a Pac Man style game for the Macintosh, McSebi is ready to oblige with their latest offering, a freeware homage to Pac Man called Pac the Man 2.
Pac the Man 2 is a sequel to an earlier game made by McSebi, this time updated with improved graphics, gameplay, and Mac OS X support (it works on older systems too).
McSebi is a long-time Mac game developer that has created homages to other popular coin-op classics as well, including Mr. Do (Mac Do) and Bubble Bobble (Bub & Bob).
If you’re familiar with McSebi’s original Pac the Man treatment, you’ll find a lot of changes in this version, besides Mac OS X compatibility: transparency effects, new stereo sound effects, original music; “bonuses” that speed you up and make you invincible, and more.
Pac the Man 2 supports simultaneous 1 or 2 player action. It also works with player-created levels built using the Level Editor. And, again, it’s free. Visit the Web site for more details.
