Graphics tablet maker Wacom Technology has announced that two sizes of its Intuos2 pro pen tablet system will be available in a new “Platinum” finish.
Coming in mid-June, the platinum version of the Intuos2 will be available on both the 6×8 inch and 9×12 inch models. Wacom marketing vice president Scott Rawlings said that the updated color scheme of the tablets will look great against the latest desktop and laptop designs from Apple and other manufacturers.
Other than the finish, the new Intuos2 tablets are identical in every respect to the Intuos2 models now available.
The Intuos2 sports pressure sensitivity with 1,024 layers, both for the batteryless, cordless stylus’ tip and eraser. The systems also ship with multi-button scrolling mice with 2,450 dot per inch resolution. Intuos2 tablets also sport a durable overlay that enables you to trace photos and art using your stylus. Accessories are available, including the Airbrush and Designer Grip Pen.
The Intuos2 comes bundled with software from Adobe, Corel and nik multimedia.
