Excel Software has released QuickHelp MacOSX 1.0, a development tool used to create application help in Mac OS X and Mac OS 9.
The tool features a QuickHelp Builder used to assist developers in the actual authoring of the help system. QuickHelp Viewer is used by the end-user to check out the help content. It can support tables of contents, indexing with automatic search, word searches across topics, and other features.
Developers gain access to a system that supports formatted text, images and links, conditional visibility for topics or portion of topics, and other functions. QuickHelp can also proof help systems to make sure that missing indexes, images and links are located.
QuickHelp MacOSX 1.0 is priced at US$195. That cost includes the native Builder and Viewer executables for Mac OS X and Mac OS 9, a license to distribute the viewer and more. Visit the Web site for details.
