Harris and Baseview Products Inc., a division of MediaSpan, will be debuting several new solutions at NEXPO this year, including an all-Mac OS X lineup, advertising accounts receivable modules, and new additions to their Web-hosting service. Harris and Baseview provide software tools for publishing, including editorial, advertising, circulation management, production, and Internet publishing.
With the imminent release of ProductionManagerPro, Baseview’s ad-tracking and asset management solution, all of their Mac-based products will be native for Mac OS X. Debuting at NEXPO are several Mac OS X compatible editorial solutions: ArchiveIQue (an archiving tool for photos and stories from past editions), Transporter (which automates importing, translating, and marking placed stories), LiveIQue (an application that updates and formats copy for Internet editions), and WireManager (software that captures AP and UPI high- and low-speed formats, Canadian Press, Reuters, broadcast wires and foreign language wires, including AFP, EFE and Notimex).
AdManagerPro and AdPower, the Mac OS X advertising solutions, now both feature Accounts Receivable. Harris and Baseview are also releasing NewsEditPro IQue for Windows, which runs on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Why should you care? Because the writing and editing solution integrates with NewsEditPro IQue for Mac workstations.
NEXPO, the Newspaper Association of America’s flagship event, runs from June 16-19 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
