Six weeks ago Mac game publisher Pangea Software Inc. released Enigmo, a 3D puzzle game. Since then, the game has been available for download and purchase. On Monday Pangea announced the release of Enigmo on CD-ROM.
Enigmo puts you in control of streams of flowing liquid. Liquids like water, oil and lava fall from droppers and bounce around the walls of a large mechanism. You can use bumpers, sliders, accelerators and sponges to divert the liquids into proper receptacles.
70 levels are included with the game, plus a built-in editor. And Pangea’s putting an Apple iPod up for grabs as part of its Enigmo Custom Game contest. More details about the game and contest are available from Pangea’s Web site.
Pangea Software President Brian Greenstone explained that his company originally planned to offer Enigmo on CD closer to the holidays. “… the response to the game has been absolutely tremendous so we decided to get it out right away instead,” he said.
Pangea will soon have Enigmo CD’s on store shelves, so if you haven’t bought the game, you should be able to find it at retailers. What’s more, you can order it directly from Pangea for US$24.95. As a bonus, the CD includes unregistered copies of “almost every other game” Pangea has made for the Mac over the years.
