Marathon Computer will begin Wednesday to ship the MacSkate. The device is a US$99 attachment with four swivel casters designed to get your Power Mac off the floor.
The MacSkate is built of a single piece of heavy-gauge, aircraft-grade aluminum. It replaces the two handles on the bottom of the Power Mac case for a custom-fitted coupling to the computer. The installation makes no permanent modifications to your Mac’s case. And it comes with all the tools for installation and removal.
Online orders are now being accepted. Marathon also offers an online forum with more information on the MacSkate and a chance for users to comment on the product.
