The 3rd Annual MGI Developer’s Conference and Crabfest will be held in Raleigh, North Carolina, July 11-12 at the Holiday Inn Brownstone Hotel. MGI is a plug-in to the WebSTAR Internet server for the Mac with features such as server side includes, send mail functions, forms processing, guestbook, authentication, banner ad, database, e-commerce functionality, and more.
The first day of the MGI Developer’s Conference and Crabfest offers a choice of 15 sessions in three tracks: “Advanced MGI Programming,” “MGI E-Commerce Solutions,” and “Server Administration.” The second day is less structured in order to offer a chance for networking, presentation of sites built with MGI, tips, and personal tutorials.
Registration for conference attendees is US$200 and $100 for non-conference attendees. The attendees fee includes all conference sessions and materials, lunch, Friday’s Crabfest dinner (an all-you-can-eat buffet of crab legs, hamburgers, hot dogs, and more), food throughout the day Saturday, and an embroidered MGI shirt. Developers can bring their non-attendee “significant others,” who can partake of the food and receive a MGI shirt.
Registrations are taken on a “first come, first serve” basis. Details — including the current schedule, accommodations, and registration information — are online.
