If you’re in the Maryland or Virginia area and you’d like to go to Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo for a day without putting too much mileage on your own vehicle, D.C.-area Mac user group Washington Apple Pi is hosting its fifth annual one-day bus trip.
Washington Apple Pi will be taking buses for the day-long trip, scheduled for Thursday, July 17, 2003. The buses will depart from at the crack of dawn and, after a brief rest stop, are scheduled to get to the Javits Center in New York City at around 10AM. They leave again in the evening at about 6:15PM, make a dinner stop, and get back around midnight.
Bus location number one is the commuter parking lot at the rear of Micro Center in the Pan Am Plaza on Nutley Street in Vienna, at 4:45AM. Location number 2 is the commuter parking lot at the corner of Rockville Pike and Montrose Road at 5:15AM.
People who are interested in attending Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo this way are encouraged to make their reservations soon, as seats will fill up. The cost of dinner is not included in the US$75 charge for this trip, although that price does cover round-trip travel arrangements and an Exhibits Hall-only pass to get in to Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo.
