Insider Software has updated FontAgent Pro, the font management and repair utility for Mac OS X, to version 1.3, which promises speed boosts. It also adds enhanced driver support to facilitate printing in the Classic mode under Mac OS X.
FontAgent Pro is designed to help users eliminate corrupt fonts, partial and unmatched fonts, duplicates, unnecessary point sizes, and generate optimized and organized font libraries. You can also use it to build font libraries and sets, deactivate or activate them as necessary, preview them, and keep open only the fonts you need for current projects.
FontAgent Pro requires Mac OS X (10.2 or later), 3MB of available disk space, and 7MB of memory. It has a suggested retail of US $99.95 for the boxed version and $89.95 for electronic download. Version 1.3 is a free update to registered users of earlier versions.
