AquaMinds Software Corp. has updated NoteTaker, the outline and information processing application for Mac OS X (10.2 and higher), to version 1.5, which brings changes to the software’s navigation system.
NoteTaker is a product for managing personal notes, URLS, lists, outlines, projects and information of any type that can be stored on a computer. Its interface incorporates a “spiral notebook with tab sections” metaphor. It can be used to take notes, manage project plans, create screen slide presentations, drag or clip information from other applications, index and search notebooks, publish and share information, add voice memos and more.
Version 1.5 — a free update to registered users — offers an interactive navigation system with a new Notebook Drawer feature. It also adds a global search tool for retrieving information across multiple notebooks. Additionally, there’s a new set of appearance controls and settings for further appearance customization including a fully customizable toolbar.
A 30-day free trial version can be downloaded from the AquaMinds Web site. For new users, registration is US$69.95 or $39.95 for an academic license.
