Mac OS X “haxie” maker
has posted a public preview version of WindowShade X 3, a new update to their software to bring WindowShade functionality to Mac OS X.
WindowShade offers enhancements over Mac OS X’s built-in ability to minimize a window in an application. You can “WindowShade” the window into a tiny strip to just get it out of the way momentarily; make the window transparent so you can see what’s going on underneath it; and minimize the window in place so it becomes small enough that you can move it out of the way and still see what’s happening on the screen.
The new version introduces the minimize in place feature, and fixes several bugs. It also optimizes speed, has been updated for Application Enhancer 1.3, and is being offered as a free upgrade for existing users. Unsanity plans to add new features in a future release, as well.
WindowShade X is offered for US$10.
