If the previous locations MacCentral has targeted for satellite broadcasts of Steve Jobs’
Worldwide Developers Conference
(WWDC) keynote address haven’t been near you, don’t lose heart: There are a few more places where you can watch the hotly anticipated event.
Saratoga Springs, NY’s
plans to show the keynote address live — it’ll be show in Emerson Auditorium at Palamountain Hall.
Arizona State University
plans to show the event, too, from its Computing Commons Auditorium (CPCOM 120) location on the main campus in Tempe.
Florida State University
in Tallahassee has thrown its hat in the ring, too: A live satellite downlink will be available at the Student Life Building, located where College and Park Aves. meet Wildwood Dr.
Dickinson College, located in Carlisle, Pa. about 20 miles west of Harrisburg, will also be showing the keynote address. Come to the Stern Center, Room 103.
Haddock Computer Center’s
two retail locations in Wichita, KS and Oklahoma City, OK will also be showing a satellite downlink of the event. Haddock Computer Center is an authorized Apple Specialist.
If none of these locations are anywhere near you, MacCentral has previously
reported on plans
to show the keynote at Ohio University, the University of Kansas, and Winona State University. MacCentral also reported that the
keynote will be shown
at University of Michigan’s Ann Arbor campus and the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Still not close enough? Give your local Apple Store or independent Apple-authorized retailer a call. Many stores around the country are planning to show the WWDC keynote as it happens, provided they have the resources. What’s more, Apple plans to show the WWDC keynote during a
following the actual event.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs is scheduled to take the WWDC keynote stage on Monday, June 23, 2003 at 10AM PT.
