MARGI Systems has announced Mac OS X 10.2 “Jaguar” support for its Presenter-to-Go, a combination software/hardware system that translates PowerPoint slide shows to PDAs. The system formerly supported Mac OS 8.5 – 9.2, but now it supports Mac OS X natively.
With Presenter-to-Go, users transfer PowerPoint slideshows to a PDA. The PDA is attached to a digital projector using an included cable, where it’s presented in full-color resolution. The system also includes a remote control so users can step away from their PDA.
Features of the software include the ability to hide and show slides, drag and drop them, view slide text and presentation notes, make on-screen annotations, and continuously loop slide shows.
The new software release enables Mac OS X 10.2 users to download and synchronize Presenter-to-Go on their Macs. It works with a broad range of Palm OS-based PDAs — a complete list is available from the Web site.
The Mac OS X 10.2 release of Presenter-to-Go is available for download from the Web site. The full kit is available for purchase from e-tailers and retailers and carries a suggested retail price of US$199.
