Mac gamers will soon be able to take the role of James Bond, secret agent 007, in Aspyr Media’s conversion of 007: Nightfire. 007: NightFire is current at its Early Development milestone — Aspyr has not yet offered an estimated ship date.
Featuring Pierce Brosnan as James Bond, 007: NightFire is a first-person shooter featuring 9 different single-player missions that combine combat, stealth and upgradeable gadgets. Bond travels to exotic locations and takes the wheel of the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish and other vehicles. 007: NightFire also features multiplayer action against up to 32 people in more than 15 different locations.
007: NightFire is the latest collaboration between Aspyr Media and TransGaming Technologies, the same cross-platform game conversion developer Aspyr worked with to bring Midway’s SpyHunter to the Mac and PC. The game was developed by Gearbox Software and published for the PC and consoles by Electronic Arts.
System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.2 or later, Power Mac G3/500MHz or better; 256MB RAM; 1GB free hard disk space; ATI Radeon or Nvidia GeForce2 MX or better graphics with at least 32MB VRAM. For details, visit the Aspyr Web site.
