Human Software has released version 1.5 of AutoCorrect, a plug-in for Adobe Photoshop Elements running on Mac OS X and Mac OS 9.x. The update adds additional controls over independent highlights or shadows correction.
AutoCorrect offers one-click color correction. It’s not based on curves but upon the techniques professionals use in darkrooms, according to Human Software. It works with all versions of Elements and with Photoshop 5.5-7.x. It’s also compatible with Corel Painter, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, and other graphics applications.
AutoCorrect is available on CD or via electronic download for US$59.95. Upgrades from previous versions are $19.
