Danish display maker
announced on Thursday plans to deliver to European customers its T24, a 24-inch flat panel display. The new display sports an aluminum chassis and has a design that’s complementary to the company’s 15, 17 and 19-inch products.
The widescreen T24 features a contrast ratio of 500:1 and a brightness of 220 cd/m2 (higher on both counts than the Apple HD Cinema Display), and has a viewing angle of 170 degrees both horizontal and vertical. The display also has a 30ms response time, and features a native resolution of 1920×1200 pixels — the same resolution as the HD Cinema Display. The T24 also comes with a variety of video inputs — analog, DVI, S-Video and composite video.
The T24 will hit stores in Europe this August. It will carry a suggested retail price of €3,795 + VAT.
