Adobe has introduced the Adobe Master Teachers Program and the Adobe Digital Kids Club, two initiatives designed for education users.
The Adobe Master Teachers Program — which is comprised of experienced kindergarten through high school (K-12) educators — is designed to recognize the innovative use of Adobe Education solutions. Adobe Master Teachers contribute their expertise to promote excellence in education through the integration of Adobe solutions in the classroom.
Adobe offers participants a range of professional development and certification options, participation in beta test programs, recognition for their work, and an opportunity to network with other educators. Up to 25 Adobe Master Teachers will be named this year.
The Adobe Digital Kids Club is designed to promote the use of digital photography in schools. It provides teachers, parents, and students with such digital photography resources as advice, training, lesson plans, and curriculum ideas, a community to share best practices, and a showcase for student work. The Adobe Digital Kids Club Web site was created with Blue Pixel, a digital photography and workflow education group.
