Corel Corp. is working with Lynda.com, an online training resource, to produce training CDs for Painter 8 and CorelDRAW 11.
The CDs, entitled “Getting Started with Corel Painter 8” and “Getting Started with CorelDRAW 11,” each feature more than 30 cross-platform (Mac and Windows) QuickTime movies. Both will be released July 21 at a suggested price of US$49 apiece. They’re available for pre-order now at the Corel Store.
“Getting Started with Corel Painter 8” offers information on topics such as learning the Corel Painter 8 workspace, working with brushes, colors and textures, different file formats, and Wacom tablets, as well as sketching, painting, and photography techniques using different artistic mediums.
“Getting Started with CorelDRAW 11” covers such information as learning the workspace, working with objects, paths, shapes and tools, file format support, integration with Corel PHOTO-PAINT, as well as multiple page documents, layout, typography and design techniques.
