Proview Technology Inc. announced Tuesday that it has been selected by Osram Sylvania to develop and market a line of monitors under the Sylvania brand name. The Mac and PC-compatible displays are available in 14 – 19-inch sized LCDs, as well as 17 and 19 inch CRT-based models.
The LCD displays are available in silver-black chassis combos or black only. In addition to desk stands, they feature VESA-compliant wall mount interfaces. They are all analog displays equipped with RGB 15-pin DSUB connectors.
Horizontal viewing angles ranging from 90 degrees on the 14-inch models to nearly 170 degrees on the 19-inch models. 14 and 15-inch displays have native resolutions of 1024×768 pixels at 75MHz, while the other units sport 1280×1024 resolution at 75MHz. The 15, 17, 18 and 19-inch displays all have three-watt stereo speakers built in, too.
The CRT-based displays have four-key onscreen display control, anti-reflection and anti-glare screens, and maximum resolutions of 1600×1200 at 65MHz.
Prices weren’t available as MacCentral posted this article, but Proview noted that the new displays should be available through retailers and e-tailers now.
