MacMice Workspace Products Co. has announced SightClips mounting adapter set for the Apple iSight.
The iSight was introduced during Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ keynote address at the recent Worldwide Developers Conference. It has a built-in, dual-element noise-suppressing microphone, as well as a custom designed lens with auto-focus and a high-end CCD sensor to provide high-resolution images and full-motion video at up to 30 frames per second. The iSight is designed work with iChat AV.
The US$39.95 SightClips kit includes three new mounting devices designed to work with the iSight. It includes a display clip that fits the top edge shape of the Apple Cinema Display and Apple Studio Display, a shelf edge clip that attaches to the front edge of any shelf behind a user’s Mac system, and a full-size desk stand that raises the iSight to over six inches above a desk surface. All three products are made from clear acrylic material.
No adhesive is needed to use the SightClips kit. You mount the iSight to the display clip that comes with the kit, and set the clip on top of your display (any Apple ADC-connected 15- or 17-inch Studio Display, or 20, 22, or 23-inch Cinema Display).
