Mac OS X audio shareware developer Rogue Amoeba Software LLC has updated its applications Detour, Audio Hijack Pro and Sound Source. All the new versions are available for download and they’re free updates for registered users.
Detour v1.0.1 is now available; the updated version sports Japanese language localization, and fixed bugs associated with its redirect table as well as iChat AV. Detour enables users to reroute audio, turn the volume up and down and more from individual applications to discrete audio outputs for your Mac.
SoundSource v1.0.1 is a free audio input and output switching tool for Mac OS X. The new version fixes a menu bug and “respects devices that announce themselves as not being capable of being the default system device (such as Apple’s iSight).”
Audio Hijack Pro is Rogue Amoeba’s flagship product. It enables users to record audio from any Mac OS X application; it can also enhance audio by applying digital signal processing (DSP) effects in real-time. Audio Hijack v1.2.4 is the latest release; it fixes an issue with level meter redraws and a conflict with Audio Hijack 1.6.5. It also uses a new 1.0.4 version of Audio Hijack Server.ape and closes alerts after 5 minutes to prevent blocking.
