The latest celebrities to sing the praises of Apple equipment will be the Doobie Brothers when they appear at Apple’s Palo Alto retail store Wednesday, July 16, 2003.
During their Made on a Mac session, the Doobie Brothers (Guy Allison, Tom Johnston and John McFee) will talk about the ways they use the Mac for musical production. The demonstration will use music from the group’s latest release Sibling Rivalry.
The Grammy Award winning rock band has been around since the seventies with sales in excess of 50 million copies. Songs like China Grove, Takin’ It to the Streets, Listen to the Music, Black Water, Rockin’ down the Highway and South City Midnight Lady, among others, have kept the band a favorite over the years.
Directions to the Palo Alto retail store are available from Apple’s Web site.
