Registration is now underway for Apple Expo 2003, which will run Sept. 16-20 in Paris, France.
The keynote presentation will be held at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, on September 16 at 10 a.m. No word yet on whether Apple CEO Steve Jobs will keynote.
A variety of conferences are planned. Most of them revolve around Mac OS X (the upcoming “Panther” update, most likely), iLife, co-existing with Windows systems, and education. There will also be developers conferences, and special events for health professionals, architects, and other professionals.
A Creative Solutions Center will welcome professionals in creative industries including sectors such as graphic design, photography, prepress, publishing and printing, audio, and video. They’ll have the chance to see the Apple and its partners’ latest solutions and technologies in these fields.
The Education Solutions Center will showcase several solutions from Apple and its partners for the education sector. “The Education Meeting point” is a dedicated area where educators can meet the Apple Education teams.
In the Digital Classroom, Apple will host workshops that involve presentations, demonstrations and exercises in which participants will manipulate and experiment with software such as iMovie, iPhoto, and iDVD. The OS X Lab is an area dedicated to demonstrating the various uses of Mac OS X in education. The Cyberkids section will feature educational software from companies such as Vivendi.
There’ll also be a Mac OS X Game Arcade that will spotlight such games as Unreal Tournament 2003, Championship Manager 4, Dungeon Siege, Harry Potter, Formula One Championship Season, Medal of Honor: Spearhead, SpyHunter, Aliens vs. Predator 2, No One Lives Forever, WarCraft III, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Master of Orion III , and more. Upcoming games will also be sneak peeked.
