Apple is among four retail tenants to have committed to lease space at Legacy Village, a 615,000-square-foot “lifestyle center” in Lyndhurst, Ohio, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The developer, First Interstate Properties Ltd. said Apple — as well as April Cornell, Acorn, and Ben & Jerry’s — will join already signed tenants such as The Cheesecake Factory, Crate & Barrel, Talbots and Joseph Beth Booksellers.
The lifestyle center will have more than retail; several office spaces are planned, as well. First Interstate is attempting to create an environment that looks as if it was built over time. There will be a number of vertical one-, two- and three-story buildings that have varying architecture and design. Legacy Village will open on October 23.
