SmileOnMyMac LLC is using this week’s Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo event to debut disclabel 1.0, a new utility designed to help Mac OS X users to create labels for their CDs, DVDs and related media.
disclabel features pre-designed templates (you can also make your own), and can import track lists from iTunes, iPhoto and iDVD. You can import images directly from iPhoto albums, then print to a range of label and paper formats. You can include and edit multiple lines of text laid out in a circle.
What’s more, SmileOnMyMac will offer additional downloadable templates, and encourages users to share their own formats too. disclabel features the ability to automate label creation with AppleScript.
Localized for English, Japanese, German, Italian and French, disclabel is available as a 30-day free demo. It requires Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar or later. Pricing is US$29.95.
Attendees of Macworld CreativePro are encouraged to stop by SmileOnMyMac LLC’s booth, #765. The exhibit halls are open July 16-18.
