Apple will join leading computing and telecommunications companies at the July 23-25 Zelos Group’s Pervasive 2003, a venue where carriers, technology providers, application developers and enterprise executives will define “profitable business models” that result from the integration of voice over IP, speech recognition, wireless networking, and operator services.
The event — to be held in Denver, Colo. — will also be attended by execs from Microsoft, Cisco, IBM, Intel, AT&T, Sprint, MCI, Deutsch Telekom, Verizon, Oracle, Apple, Openwave, Cingular, Ericsson, AT&T Wireless, Nextel, Sprint PCS, Nuance, Brooktrout, Nokia, Qualcomm, and others. The companies will look at the future of pervasive interactive services.
Topics to be discussed include: wireless data assistance, speech technology, and wireless photo messaging. Apple’s upcoming iChat AV has garnered lots of buzz and interest regarding its video conferencing/telephonic features and potential.
Zelos Group, which sponsors Pervasive 2003, is a research and advisory services firm that assists technology companies and service providers in the interactive services sector. The company focuses on voice applications, wireless applications, directory assistance and electronic games across multiple platforms, network, and devices.
