SanDisk Corp. has released the Cruzer Mini, a small (2.6 by .79 by .48 inches), “key chain” storage drive that’s available in 128 and 256MB versions with suggested retail prices of US$49.99 and $79.99, respectively.
The SanDisk Cruzer Mini, which offers USB 2.0 connectivity, is designed to be carried or worn around the neck with an included lanyard. When it’s inserted into a USB port, a LED lights up.
The storage device is compatible with Mac OS X (10.1.2 and higher) and Mac OS 9.2.1 (and higher). Higher capacity Cruzer Minis are planned for later this year.
