Digital Anarchy on Tuesday announced the release of Anarchy Toolbox for After Effects, a collection of nine tools used to generate visual effects like blurs, glows, distortions, tiled images, warped graphics and more.
The effects include Anarchist Edge, which produces glowing “painterly edge” effects; Designer Blur, which creates a blur effect using a pre-defined or user-definable shape; Path Distort, which distorts images in the shape of Bezier path; Gradient Path, which wraps gradients around a Bezier path; Noise Complex, a noise filter with a variable frame rate; Smooth Tiler, which tiles images seamlessly that weren’t designed to tile seamlessly; ReSizer, which uses a dozen algorithms to resize footage and images; Advanced Displacement Map, which combines up to three greyscale maps to create distortions or stunning natural effects; and Color Sampler, which samples an image or footage and returns the color of the pixels at the sample location.
Anarchy Toolbox for Adobe After Effects is available for an introductory price of US$129. It’s compatible with Adobe After Effects 4.1 or higher.
